A friend turned me on to Washington State’s Unclaimed Property website. I did a quick search and learned that I had about $200 waiting for me. One was an overpayment on my Seattle City Light bill from my last apartment and the other two were related to class action law-suits against Dell.

After a quick submission processes, which involved scanning and uploading a few pieces of paperwork, I was able to lay claim to the money. In 6 weeks, or so, I should be receiving a check.
