Auburn Mountainview High School DECA students to host Entrepreneurship Exposition

On Saturday, November 21, Auburn Mountainview High School DECA students Heather Odell and Nichola Usher are hosting the first annual Entrepreneurship Exposition from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Auburn Mountainview High School, 28900 124th Avenue SE, Auburn. The event is free and open to the public.
The Entrepreneurship Exposition is open to people of all ages who are interested in learning how to launch their own business. The event will help people discover how to begin reaching their goals of business ownership through resource booths; workshop sessions; a panel discussion with local business owners Way Scarff, owner of Scarff Ford, John Rottle, owner of Rottle’s, and Dawn Taylor, owner of Salon Bella Dea; and a message from keynote speaker Brad Benner, owner of X-BAR, a Seattle-based IT consulting and support business.
Workshop session topics include: small business development; finances; marketing and more. Resource booth vendors include: Community Capital Development; HBI Insurance; Washington Association of Accountants; Small Business Administration; Labor and Industry; IRS; and Department of Licensing.
