This page is about X-BAR
We're not super-thrilled at talking about ourselves—we'd rather be discussing how we can help you improve your relationship with your technology. But it turns out that's what we really do need to say: We're a different kind of IT support company because we think of IT differently. Simply put, we see it as a tool that helps people make their corporations—or nonprofits, or small businesses—successful. A tool that's built to work with those people, not against them. We strive to meet that vision in five simple ways:
- By maximizing the value of your technology investment. What does that mean? It means providing the strategic planning that matches the technology you buy—or pay to support—to the objectives of your business.
- By serving as your organization's trusted technology advisor and advocate. Doesn't sound very revolutionary? Then think about this: When was the last time your IT support company talked to you before they absolutely needed to, and spoke to you like a human being?
- By minimizing outages and unexpected downtime. That means proactively identifying and resolving issues before they occur. Logical, right? Sure, but we bet it doesn't happen as often as you'd like.
- By maintaining a high standard of expertise. This encompasses not only knowledge of technical solutions, but adherence to industry best practices—including eco-responsible ones.
- Provide high quality, measurable results. Really, if this wasn't the case, we wouldn't want to be in business. That said, we deliver on our commitments, and our record backs us up. Just give us a call and we'll be happy to share our successes with you. Who wouldn't?
A little bit of history
A product manager at Microsoft's Sidewalk.com. A graduate of the University of Washington. A tour guide in Portugal. A Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator. For
X-BAR founder Brad Benner, the invaluable experience of every role he's played has been working with people and keeping a passion for the task at hand. In 2002, Brad decided to fuel a growing entrepreneurial spirit with his life experience and technology skills, and
X-BAR was born. The origin of the name lies in linguistic structure—languages, particularly Spanish, are another passion—and serves as a reminder the power of communication to create engaging experiences.
Today, with over a decade of IT experience and seven years of successful business ownership under his belt, Brad leads a team of technology professionals dedicated to making that kind of engagement a part of every thing that happens here at X-BAR. We've been lucky to work with some great businesses and nonprofits in the Seattle area, including Microsoft, YMCA of Greater Seattle, and Children's Hospital. As we head into 2010 and beyond, we'll be building on these successes—crafting great relationships, solving a ton of problems big and small, and maybe even breaking a bit of ground while we're at it.
